Heritage Hotel Nobile

Dubrovnik

The Creative Tourism Industry was engaged in the restoration and interior design of a historically significant country house in the heart of Dubrovnik. We were tasked with breathing new life into a house that had not seen much investment for years and preparing it for discerning guests from the UK, the USA, and the Far East. The client’s desire was for each room to have a distinct theme, in line with the house’s history.

“LOCATED NEAR THE CITY GATES OF PILA, THIS COUNTRY HOUSE WAS A PLACE WHERE FAMOUS DUBROVNIK WRITERS, MUSICIANS, AND ARTISTS LIVED AND WORKED. ANTIQUE FURNITURE AND LAVISH STUCCO WORK INTERWEAVE WITH MODERN SOLUTIONS, CELEBRATING THE ONCE SLIGHTLY DECADENT PAST OF THE HOUSE.”

TRIBUTE TO HISTORICAL FIGURES

Through six luxury rooms, a reception area, a garden, a modern show kitchen, a breakfast space, and a multipurpose room for meetings and small concerts, the house tells the stories of painter Celestin Medović, writer Vojnović, composer Concertino Di Rubricius, Captain Admiral Ohmučević, Doctor Jer Pugliesi, and historian and critic Albert Stipan Haler.

Past, Present, and Future

Classic elements in the form of antique furniture, wooden beams, windows, and stucco blend with custom-made antique mirrors and occasional modern pieces also designed by us, like this elegant glass table with metal legs.
